The property is on the edge of a residential estate and backs onto open countryside. The proposal is for a large detached garage, being 6m x 6.3m x 4m high with a pitched roof. The garage would be built in similar materials to the house. The garage would be north of the existing house and not close to any neighbouring properties, therefore reducing any amenity problems. The design is acceptable. The garage would is large, but in my opinion would not appear too large or out of place within the surrounding area. 15/02/2006 |
