This side of Abbey Road contains semi-detached properties some red brick (like the application building pair and next pair down) and some stone further down road. The top pair are the only ones that have hipped roof rather than gable end and so the proposal would be entirely in-keeping with the area/street scene. Little impact on neighbours given scale of extension. Materials condition important in this instance to ensure good match. 02/02/2006 |
