Site visit The property is a semi-detached bungalow in Langho. The proposal is to demolish the existing extensions and build a flat roof single storey extension, which will make the rear of the property appear square. The proposal will project 1.1m and will be 7.3m long. It will be 2.9m high. There will be minimal issues with the development with regards to loss of privacy and loss of light as the development is part existing and not close to any neighbouring properties. The main issue is the design on the proposal, i.e. being a flat roof. Due to the property being a bungalow it would be difficult to accommodate a different roof style and as it is at the rear I do not think this issue would justify a refusal. The existing conservatory is a flat roof. The size is acceptable.
