Site visit The proposal is for a detached garage to the rear garden of the property. It is proposed to be 10m long, 7m wide with a pitched roof being 6m at the apex, with a first floor providing storage. There is an external staircase providing access to the first floor. It is proposed to be situated over 55metres away from the property at the end of the garden. There would be no neighbouring issues. The size and design is acceptable, although a significant size, it would not be detrimental to the surrounding area as there is an array of various outbuildings within this stretch of housing. There is an existing drive in place and a timber outbuilding situated close to the proposed garage.
